How Can I Protect Myself And Others From The Coronavirus?

We live in a global world, and with it, there are many challenges we have in business and production. Likewise, our socializing has expanded to well beyond our community, our state, and our nation.

Wing is very aware of what a difficult time this is in America, and in the entire world. COVID-19, the pandemic that will forever define the 20s, is radically changing our way of life. We want to assist you in maintaining as much of your way of life as possible.

Before you stock up on toilet paper, know what you are facing. You are facing a respiratory virus that has rapidly spread across the globe. Authorities have recommended social distancing ourselves from others so we don’t overburden hospitals all at once.

Chances are, you won’t be sick enough to need a hospital stay, but a large swath of the population will, and the truth is, we don’t have enough hospital beds should they all need hospitals at once. So what can you do?

First, keep your distance, because as long as we don’t have enough tests, we don’t know if we are infected. And being infected means we could pass it on, and the life that is in peril may be the person you give it to. Being infected doesn’t mean we will show signs until we’ve already passed on that virus. However, if you suspect you are infected, look for these symptoms:

  • Runny nose
  • Body aches
  • Sore throat
  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Difficulty breathing (severe cases)

Try, when in public, to not touch your face. If you have the virus on your face, from another person, you aren’t infected until it gets into your system. Touching it leads the virus to eventually get to your mouth and into your system.

Wear gloves. You’ve seen people using gloves at the grocery store. That’s much smarter than you may imagine. If you remove them when you are done, you decrease the chances of getting infected tenfold!

Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands:

If you are careful, you can avoid this virus, and you may have to avoid it for up to a year and a half, because without a vaccine, it will linger on the planet, flaring up over and over again.

If you can do that, then you can function as a businessperson, parent, student, or any other functioning person in the real world.
